Today is the last day in Tejari trading and I started this day by checking the excel sheet with the group and I tried to complete the calculation in order to finalize it. After that I with my team started to collect all information about the Tejari such as: finical excel sheet, checked on the website and prepare our information for the presentation.

Today I managed to know how to handle the financial excel sheet and how to put the figures in the right place because when I checked on the sheet I recognize some of mistakes and try to solve it with my group.

Wednesday 21.May.2008

On Wednesday 21.May.2008 I with my team faced a problem in trading because all the day we are waiting the High Quality Blend to buy from us and I called one of the groups from UK café but the dealing was incomplete. Finally in the end of this day I discussed with the group about this issue then we solved it by sold blend coffee for the customers.

Tuesday 20.May.2008

Today I discussed with the group about the demand and we bought Robusta & Arabica beans from wholesalers. Then I sold it to the customers.

Monday 19.May.2008

During this day I was following up the market in the Auction with other members of my team to know what we have to sell & buy of coffee beans and blend. In the end of this day I prepared some information for Tejari presentation.

Sunday 18.May.2008

On Sunday 18th May 2008, first thing I did in this on day was to check Jaweed’s email and I knew the demand on this period and I set a meeting with my the team for discuses about it. Beside that, I and my group contacted other teams’ members of Tejari to send for us their banner to advertise it in our website.

Thursday 15.May.2008

Via this day Mr. Simon explained for us PED calculation and I asked him some questions about it because I didn’t understand this part in finance. Then I suggest on the group to blend Arabica and Robusta beans to sell it. Finally I make advertising by sending emails for the High Quality Retailers to purchase it from us.

Wednesday 14.May.2008

On Wednesday Mr. Tridib explained for us financial Excel sheet, but unfortunately the game already started and I faced problem because I didn’t understand how I can make the blend, but I asked my team about this point. After that we upload our website. Then we started trading, we bought beans from wholesaler which was Latte.

Tuesday 13.May.2008

During this day we faced problem when uploading our Tejari website, but we didn’t stop our work. We registered in the Auction website and I registered myself in blogger to record my daily works on this project.

Monday 12.May.2008

We start this day by discussing about all tasks that were given on Sunday. After that we started working on Tejari website, how we will design it and search for the images to include in the website. Then we download and have a look on the financial Excel sheet, but we didn’t understand it. So I with my group decided to explain this point to Mr. Tridib in the next class. In addition, while our colleague Mariam working on the website we were preparing the structure of the website such as: homepage, mission, about us …etc. and I made some searches about the history of Mocha Loca coffee specifically, and the coffee industry in general.

Sunday 11.May.2008

On this day I attended the class with my colleagues and Mr. Tridib explained for us about the Market strategy of Tejari project and Game Rules with the presence of teachers. In Tejari our group was considered as a “Low Quality Retailer “(LQR). We chose “Mocha Loca” as a name of our business. We have also some tasks to do it via three days such as: create Tejari website register in eAuction and blogger. After that, I meet with my group to discuss how we will create a Tejari website.
